The WSES PTA supports our students, teachers, and school community in many ways:

• Purchasing educational tools and resources to enrich learning

• Raising funds to support school needs

• Hosting community-building events

• Coordinating volunteers for a wide range of activities

The #1 reason to join the PTA is to support your child—and by extension, your school. Membership brings many benefits:

1. Stay informed with our regularly updated website, monthly event calendar, weekly e-blasts, and handouts.

2. Connect with other parents through PTA-sponsored programs and events.

3. Help support and encourage WSE teachers and staff.

4. Contribute to vital fundraising efforts that provide for technology upgrades, facility improvements, educational materials, and more.

Joining the PTA does not mean you're required to volunteer. Any level of involvement is appreciated—whether it’s helping in a classroom, volunteering at an event, working behind the scenes, or simply sending cookies for the holiday Cookie Exchange. Every little bit helps!

Everyone is welcome—and encouraged—to join! Parents, guardians, teachers, grandparents, extended family, and community members can all become part of the PTA.

PTA meetings are open to all—though attendance is not required. We typically hold five general meetings per year, featuring:

• Guest speakers

• Q&A sessions with the principal

• Updates on programs and fundraisers

• Member questions and new business

Absolutely! With over 800 students, there’s always a need for help—and every bit counts. Whether you have 5 minutes or 2 hours, prefer helping at school or from home, we have options that fit your schedule and comfort level.
