1st PTA General Meeting

Our FIRST General Meeting on Friday, September 18 at 9 am. Come and hear about all the FUN events, activities, and plans we have for the 2026-27 School Year! From WalnutPALOOZA to our new website that will help you stay informed about school activities, we'd had a busy summer! 

Room Parent Training will immediately following the meeting. We can't wait to see you there! 

PTA Membership Popsicle Drive

Our WSE PTA Membership Drive is on — and your class could win big! 

Join by September 30 to help your classroom reach 20 memberships and earn a popsicle party in October. The top two classes will also receive a POP Prize Package plus $25 toward their teacher’s wishlist.

Memberships are just $12, requires no time commitment, and counts for parents, grandparents, students, and family members — every membership helps your classroom get closer to winning!

Your support makes beloved programs like Running Club, Science Night, and the Talent Show possible, while helping us celebrate and appreciate our amazing staff all year long.

WalnutPALOOZA is Coming! 

WalnutPALOOZA is coming October 29 from 5:00–7:00pm at Walnut Springs Elementary! Join us for Trunk-or-Treating, music, a dunk tank, silent auction, and more at this free family event.

Funds raised support PTA programs and resources students and staff enjoy all year, including the Talent Show, Movie Nights, Book Exchange, Scripps Spelling Bee, grade-level programs, teacher support, and staff luncheons.

Get involved by supporting WalnutPALOOZA:

Event Sponsorship: Host a Trunk-or-Treat booth and showcase your business to 400+ expected attendees.

Event Underwriting: Support a key attraction and receive special event recognition while helping more funds go directly to the PTA.

Silent Auction Donation: Donate an item or service to help raise funds and gain visibility with families in person and online.

School Directory

NEW FOR 2026-27! 

Sign up for an account on our new website so you access the school directory, manage volunteer sign-ups, stay in the loop on important dates, school events, teacher and staff gifts, teacher appreciation, and other special classroom moments. Room Parents won't be able to email you unless you sign up here.

Families can also use the built-in directory to connect with other WSE families for play dates, party invites, sports sign-ups, and new friendships throughout the year.
