Pre-K Classroom Volunteers

Please read through for volunteer opportunity descriptions. If you have any questions about the roles, you can contact Mary Quin Moore (volunteers@wsepta.com) or your classroom teacher directly.

Room Parent: Coordinates teacher class gifts, manages classroom directory, helps with PTA communication to classroom families. Communicate important information to parents. Requires a lot of e-mails with your class and teacher; mostly an at-home job with occasional opportunities at school. Great way to get to know your teacher and other parents in the class.

Thursday Folder Volunteer: Sorts completed student work and school flyers into folders to go home each Thursday. Must be able to come to school 1x a week to organize folders.

Workroom/Copy Volunteer: Come in on Thursdays/Fridays to make copies for the next week.

PreK Workroom Volunteer

Helps with copies, laminating, and other small jobs for all of Pre-K; can come any day of the week, work with PK team to make a schedule. Mrs. Moreno - karalise.moreno@dsisdtx.us
